New professors to join AKFA University from Spring 2021 semester

AKFA University is happy to announce the hiring of four new faculty members, who will join the university family next Spring 2021 semester.

Dr. Mukhammad Khan will join the Medical School. He will be teaching Chemistry in Spring 2021 semester. Mr. Mukhammad joins AKFA University from Korea Food Research Institute in South Korea. He earned his Ph.D from the University of Science and Technology (South Korea). Mr. Mukhammad worked as a Post-doctoral Research Associate for Korea Food Research Institute.

Dr. Lakshmi Iyer will become our professor of the History of Medicine and Histology. Mrs. Lakshmi has been working at Resident House Officer at Lilavati Hospital and Research Centre, Mumbai. She earned her MBBS at Terna Medical College, Nerul.

Prof. Mokshada Sharma will be joining us as a Medical School Professor and she will teach the Gross Anatomy course for sophomore students. Mrs. Sharma comes to us via the International Association for Medical Education where she was Student Taskforce Head Coordinator. She is a graduate of MUHS – Terna Medical College, Navi Mumbai and earned her Bachelor of Medicine, and Bachelor of Surgery and her Masters of Public Health From the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, London.

Dr. Bakhrom Muinjonov will also join the Medical School. Prof. Muinjonov will teach an Embryology course for Sophomore students. He graduated Tashkent Medical Academy with the MD degree and earned his Fundamental Neuroscience and Neuropsychopharmacology Master’s degree from the University of Bordeaux.

These new professors look forward to becoming part of our community and working with our students.  We are delighted to welcome them to the University.
