Munisa Muhtarova to head School of Education of AKFA University
Munisa Muhtarova was appointed as the Dean of the School of Education of AKFA University. One of the main tasks of the new Dean will be the development of the new school.
Ms Muhtarova is a graduate of Andijan State Pedagogical University (bachelor’s degree) and Webster University (master’s degree). She also studied in courses at Stanford University and Westminster International University in Tashkent.
In various years, she worked in public and private organizations, including in educational institutions. In September 2019, she joined AKFA University as an English language instructor.
“I was truly honored when I was offered to be the Dean of School of Education at AKFA University as it is gratifying to be part of this newly established school and it will be an absolute pleasure for me to contribute to the development and prosperity of this institution. It is my hope that very soon AKFA University School of Education will be acknowledged and recognized for its advanced quality programs, their value, and excellence. At our school, we plan to offer undergraduate and graduate programs in language teaching and applied linguistics, as well as teacher training and internship programs, research, and extracurricular opportunities. It is our goal to produce professionals who will outperform their peers in employment rates and who will gain higher levels of satisfaction in their future endeavors,” said Munisa Muhtarova.
