AKFA University plans to receive international rating by 2026

AKFA University, which started its activities in 2019, has set itself lofty goals. The university began work on obtaining international accreditation and rating.

AKFA University has set a goal of achieving an international ranking by 2026. Today the university has taken its first step in this direction.

Today my team and I held a video conference call with Times Higher Education Director of Strategic Solutions Michael Caruan.

The World University Ranking of Times Higher Education was first published in 2004. The World University Ranking of Times Higher Education-2020 includes about 1400 universities from 92 countries.

During the video selector, Michael Caruana shared information about the World University Ranking of Times Higher Education, which is regularly published by Times Higher Education, its methodology and requirements.

Also, a representative of the Times Higher Education company gave his advice to AKFA University on obtaining the World University Ranking of Times Higher Education and what issues to pay attention to.

Michael Caruana answered all questions from AKFA University staff regarding the process of obtaining an international rating.

Following the meeting, AKFA University will develop and implement a plan to obtain an international rating until 2026.

To obtain an international rating, in particular, AKFA University must provide high-quality education, conduct research and publish articles on it, develop infrastructure, etc.

Obtaining an international rating will increase the reputation of the university, attract more international students to our country, and most importantly, will stimulate the development of higher education in Uzbekistan.
